Pokemon Go Blacklisted app warning live

Datamine of Pokemon Go APK version  0.79.2 / 1.49.2, showed anti-cheat arrangements in for of An app blacklist. It will check the installed apps on your android phone and then prevent the start if necessary.

Today this warning went live, it is also been called “Black screen of Death”. The warning screen prevents you from playing Pokemon Go and tells you to remove the blacklisted app from the phone.

What does this mean?

Although this security measure hasn’t completely stopped spoofing in Pokémon GO, it managed to knock out several high profile location mocking apps on Android. In addition, it enabled Niantic to blacklist any number of cheating apps in the future.



Disabling the aforementioned popular location mocking apps, forced offending players to use other less reliable and easily detectable apps, resulting in a noticeable decline in spoofing activity.

At present, there are also reports if third-party IV checker been targeted.

“We have detected software that can interfere with the operation of Pokémon GO on your device. This includes applications that falsify your location. Using unauthorized software that directly impacts Pokémon GO is a violation of Niantic’s Terms of Service and can result in the loss of your account. You will need to uninstall any such applications in order to continue gameplay.

    Well my account just have a warning. And I was running an IV calculator called pokegenie. I uniunstalled but I’m still banned. Will I ever get my account back? I put so much money to play the game. 🙁

      There must be some other app that is triggering this warning, once uninstalled yo can play the game. You are not banned.
