The teaser of the English version of the 20th season of the Pokemon anime came out last December. USA fans don’t have to wait long, because it has been announced that Pokemon The Series Sun & Moon will be coming as a regular on Disney XD. The popular series will begin streaming on Disney XD on May 12, 2017.

They first aired back in December as part of a special preview, commemorating the Pokemon cartoons’ move to the Disney XD premium cable network after years on Cartoon Network. The series’ third episode will then air May 13 at 9 a.m. ET; that will be Sun and Moon’s regular time slot from then on.

If you are unfamiliar with Pokemon Sun & Moon, the show’s official site describes it below,

“What starts as a summer vacation in the tropical Alola region turns into the next exciting chapter in Ash Ketchum’s quest to become a Pokémon Master! There’s plenty for Ash and Pikachu to explore in this sunny new region, with exciting new Pokémon to discover and interesting people to learn from along the way—including the cool Professor Kukui and the fun-loving Samson Oak.

More new faces will help guide Ash’s Alolan adventure, in the form of a group of skilled Trainers—Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, and Sophocles—and a mysterious research assistant called Lillie. Frequent foes Team Rocket has also made the trip to Alola, looking to swipe some high-powered new Pokémon. But they have some heavy competition on the villainy front: the ruffians of Team Skull, who delight in causing chaos and may have more sinister intentions…”
